Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how you may use draft.net and its AI writing and image-generation tools. It supplements our Terms of Service and must be read together with those Terms. Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

1. Scope

draft.net is a creative platform that provides AI-assisted writing and image-generation tools for individual writers and business teams. This AUP applies to everyone who accesses the Service and to all content you submit to, generate with, or share through the platform. The Service is available only to users located in the United States.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use draft.net to create, upload, store, or share content that:

  • Is unlawful, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way, including any depiction of child sexual abuse material
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others, including generating images or text that copy a living artist's or brand's protected work without authorization
  • Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred against individuals or groups
  • Depicts a real, identifiable person in a false or misleading way intended to deceive, defraud, or harm (including non-consensual intimate imagery)
  • Is designed to deceive, such as disinformation, impersonation, or content presented as authored or endorsed by someone who did not author or endorse it
  • Contains malware, or is intended to compromise the security of any system or person

3. Prohibited Conduct

When using draft.net, you may not:

  • Share account credentials or let others use your account, except as permitted for business team seats
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, quotas, credits, or access controls, or use automated means to abuse free or trial access
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service or its tools without our written permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform, or access it other than through the interfaces we provide
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including overloading it with excessive requests
  • Circumvent geographic restrictions. The Service is offered only in the United States, and evading that restriction is a material breach of the Terms of Service

4. AI Tool Use

Our writing and image tools are powered by third-party AI models. In addition to the rules above, you may not:

  • Use the tools to generate content prohibited by this AUP or by the underlying model providers' use policies
  • Attempt to bypass safety filters, extract model weights or system prompts, or reverse-engineer the tools
  • Present AI-generated output as human-authored where doing so would be deceptive or is prohibited by law or by a third party you are dealing with

See our AI Transparency page for details on which models we use and their limitations.

5. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for how you use the content you generate or publish, including ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload and that your use of generated content complies with applicable law and any third party's requirements. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable; review it before relying on or publishing it.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, limiting or suspending features, and suspending or terminating accounts, with or without notice. Serious violations, including those involving illegal content, may be reported to the appropriate authorities. This AUP is incorporated by reference into the draft.net Terms of Service.

7. Reporting Abuse

To report content or conduct that violates this policy, contact contact@draft.net. Please include enough detail for us to locate and review the material.
